You cannot buy puppy at a rescue, as rescues have dogs for adoption only.
The dog is of medium size and stands about 17-21 inches (43-53 cm) in height and weighs about 44 pounds that is 20 kg. The coat is rather smooth and coarse. There are following color patterns of the breed: red or tan with a black saddle and cranium and red or tan face.

There are several breeds of dogs that are originated in Yugoslavia and these breeds are the sole scent hounds of southern Europe and the Balkans. They all are quite similar in type and are of moderate size and possess fairly good bone. You cannot buy puppy at a rescue, as rescues have dogs for adoption only.
