Beagle Boston Mix Terrier -
photos, rescue
This breed is very ancient. It is claimed that packs of these dogs have existed across Britain before Roman times. The precise origin of the breed is uncertain, but the dogs we know today probably developed from Talbot hounds brought to England from France during the Norman Conquest. They are sturdy, compactly built hounds whose essential purpose is to hunt. Nowadays, these dogs are very rarely used for hunting; they are popular as family pets and playing companions for children. These dogs are courageous, possessing a great stamina and intelligence. A beagle boston mix terrier may be hard to find in photos but is sometimes found in a rescue.
