Beagle Dog Information
Beagle dog information, a picture, and tips on choosing a puppy are available in the national breed club.
Nowadays, these dogs can be both successful gundogs and wonderful family pets and companions. They are bold, very active, possessing great stamina and determination. They are intelligent, and affectionate towards their owners. They should not show aggression or timidity. Keeping requirements for this breed are not difficult. These dogs have a short and sleek coat, which does well with regular brushing and occasional bathing. The breed doesn’t shed much. It does well in apartments if provided with long daily walks and enough exercise outdoors, but keeping a pet in a fenced yard would be better.

Beagle Dog Information -
picture, puppy
This is an ancient breed developed as a scenting hound. They are mentioned in the documents dating from 400 B.C. These dogs were very popular with the British monarchy in the 1300 and 1400s. The modern type of the breed originated as a cross between the Harrier and other hounds in England. By the 1700s, two types of hounds existed for hunting rabbits: the Southern Hound and the North Country Hound. These types vary in size, but their personalities and working abilities are the same.
