Belgian Cattle Dog
The belgian cattle dog puppy can be viewed in most collections of pictures that feature herding dogs.
The true origin of the breed is still unknown, but large Barbets, mastiffs, Picardy, Beauceron, and Griffon were possible ancestors of these creatures. The breed was almost destructed during World War I and rebuilt from the few survivors. The AKC does not register this breed.

Vlaamse Koehond is another name of this rare breed, which originated in Flanders, Belgium. This breed was possibly brought to Flanders by Spanish invaders or was produced right in Belgium.
