Bernese Hound

The body of the dog is longer than tall; the head is also long and cleanly cut. The skull is narrow, domed; the ears are set on low, narrow, pendulous, folded and twisted, rounded at the tip. The eyes are slightly oval, a shade of brown.

The breed was originated in Switzerland; it is also known under the name: Schweizerischer Laufhund. These dogs are 30 to 55 cm (11.8-21.7 in) high and weigh 15 to 20 kg (33 to 44 lb).
