To adopt a dog is not very easy, you have to fill out an application form and pay a donation to partially cover the expenses on medical care, boarding, feeding and training. Volunteers will inspect your house to make sure you are able to keep the dog.

A small puppy of this breed sometimes fascinates people, but they have no idea what it will look like in two years. They are not ready to cope with drooling, chewing, over activity and large size. Various dogs can be unwanted and abandoned. A bloodhound rescue will not usually have puppies, breeders are the best place to look.
