A bloodhound breed is a challenge for a kennel who raises these dogs. The typical color patterns for these dogs are black and tan, liver and tan, and red; white spots are allowed on the chest, feet and tail. These dogs are rather large and reach 30 inches at the shoulders; females are smaller, ranging from 23 to 26 inches. A bloodhound breed is a challenge for a kennel who raises these dogs.
