A bichon bolognese puppy is hard to find at rescues.
These dogs are stocky and compact, covered with a pure white coat, long and fluffy. Square built, the length of the body being equal to the height at the withers. The head is of medium length, reaches 1/3 of the height of the withers.

These are very small dogs that weigh about 5 to 9 lbs. and stand 10-12" at the shoulders. Though they are of small size they are very affectionate and are good pets. The breed belongs to the group of toy dog and they are also good watchdogs. A bichon bolognese puppy is hard to find at rescues.
