They weigh from about 20-30 pounds (9-14 kg). They are the cross of the Bounce Mountain Feist with the Kemmer Stock Mountain Curs. Robert Kemmer is the developer of this new breed who started the breeding program to produce a good breed for hunting squirrels and raccoons.

This is a sturdy breed with a medium-length double coat that comes in red, yellow, or brindle. They are said to have friendly temperaments and are usually energetic and alert.
