Canary dog (island) are usually very active as puppies and aren't commonly found in rescues.
This is a breed not for everyone as it requires a very dominant owner who understand the alpha nature in canines. These are very outstanding and friendly dogs that make very good guard hounds. In the wrong hands this hound can be dangerous.

This is a powerful hound with a square head that is nearly as wide as it is long. The muzzle of the hound is broad; the chest is deep and broad. The coloring of the coat can be: fawn and various brindles, white markings are sometimes seen. Canary dog (island) are usually very active as puppies and aren't commonly found in rescues.
