Chihuahua Puppy
The chihuahua puppy is usually from a large group of puppies and it gets along well with other dogs.
These dogs require devotion and sacrifice. Although they are compact in size, they require thorough care and constant supervision, because they are extremely vulnerable to hardships of life. They appreciate patient and logic training and do not tolerate boredom, indifference or teasing. These dogs are not recommended for families with children, because they do not take to children and often bite them, and because a child is very likely to accidentally injure this fragile dog. These dogs do not require much space and do okay in small apartments.

Reputable breeders should be registered by the AKC, CKC or other national registry and abide the club’s code of ethic. They should maintain complete and accurate breeding records and breed only high quality registered dogs free of genetic disorders and faults. Every breeder should aim at improving and preserving the breed standard and never sell the dogs to wholesalers, pet shops and dealers. All breeding stock has to be screened for hereditary defects and all questionable animals should be spayed or neutered.
