The history of the breed is rather long and has been passed down in letters, interviews, and by word of mouth. This breed is actually a cross of German Shepherd Hounds and Belgian Sheepdogs, Canadian Eskimo hounds, and perhaps other breeds. The chinook dog kennel will have a picture of any available dogs.
