Chow Chow Puppy
A chow chow puppy does not usually leave the kennel before the breeders recommended age of 8 to 10 weeks.
The breed may be lazy, so it does not need a lot of exercise and is happy with a few short walks a day. Health concerns include hip dysplasia, entropion, epilepsy, and bloat. Since some dogs experience behavioral problems, it is recommended to buy dogs from responsible breeders.

Chow Chow Puppy -
kennel, breeders
There are two varieties of the breed: rough and smooth coats. Long-coated dogs are said to be easier to train, though it is yet arguable. Long-coated dogs need much involvement as they should be brushed every day and need extra care when they shed heavily two times a year.
