The coat is water resistant and rather short, smooth and straight on the body including the neck and elsewhere, the coat is short, smooth and straight, including on the forehead, face, front of forelegs, and feet. The coat on the ears, belly, backs of forelegs, thighs, pasterns, hocks, and feet should be trimmed.
