Abandoned english pointer dogs are frequently found in rescues kennels.
The coat is short, sleek, and shiny and comes in primarily white, but may be liver, lemon, black or orange, either solid, patched or speckled. Tri-colored is also permitted. The nose should be of the same coloring as the marking on the coat.
