Feist

These are very useful farm dogs, avidly hunting and killing rodents. Unlike other terriers these have a very strong packing instinct, as do hounds, and several will generally stick close together. This breed has descended from the terriers brought over by English miners and other working class immigrants.

This is a small, shorthaired, terrier-like hunting dog. There are currently 3 varieties recognized by the U.K.C. and they are alert, intelligent little dogs, ranging from 12 to 30 lbs.
