French Bulldog - Picture
The French Bulldog was initially developed in England as a miniature version of the English Bulldog. During the 1860’s, French dog breeders imported some of these small Bulldogs from Great Britain and bred them with French Terriers. These imports were greatly admired in France and this led to the name French Bulldog. This breed belongs to the Mastiff group and tends to have a very comical personality, which can include excessive silly behavior!
