When looking for a free german puppy shepherd, don't look a breeder, but find dogs that are available through the rescues. Though these dogs seem to be very agile, hardy and healthy, some bloodlines are prone to hereditary health disorders. Breeders and owners of these dogs should be well aware of typical problems this breed is prone to. Responsible breeders always test the breeding stock for hereditary diseases. It helps to produce dogs of a better quality and improve the breed. Besides hereditary disorders, these dogs are susceptible to bloat, eye and heart problems, Parvo virus and other problems. Free German Puppy Shepherd

  -

breeder, rescues

The dog is very agile and playful and enjoys good exercise sessions as well as learning sessions. Socialization should begin from the earliest age; otherwise the dog can be aloof with strangers and even aggressive as there is a great protective instinct in these dogs. The coat of the dog is double and has two layers. The outer one is very dense and coarse and the inner layer is wooly. Thatís why the dog can live outside even in cold climates. In fact, the dog likes to be close to its family and it is better to keep it as a family member. When looking for a free german puppy shepherd, don't look a breeder, but find dogs that are available through the rescues.
