German Shepherd Pedigree

[an error occurred while processing this directive]

A german shepherd pedigree cannot be obtained with dogs that have been adopted through rescues, even if it's a puppy. It is a calm and confident dog; it can be both eager and alert; both fit and willing to serve in its capacity as companion, watchdog, guide for the blind, herding dog, or protector, whichever the circumstances may demand. The dog is very brave and must not be timid, shrinking behind its master or handler; it should not be nervous, looking about or upward with anxious expression or showing nervous reactions, such as tucking of tail, to strange sounds or sights. A german shepherd pedigree cannot be obtained with dogs that have been adopted through rescues, even if it's a puppy.

German Shepherd Pedigree

  -

rescues, puppy

These are very special dogs that need regular training and an owner who can be dominating, but not too strict. Not anyone willing to adopt a pet of this breed from a rescue is allowed to. Rescue workers screen families and living conditions of all applicants to make sure they can be right owners for a homeless dog. Negative image of the breed has appeared due to irresponsible ownership when dogs are not trained, but left on their own. Such dogs easily become aggressive, territorial, overprotective or dominating. In the wrong hands, these dogs become potentially dangerous both for the family and for strangers. A german shepherd pedigree cannot be obtained with dogs that have been adopted through rescues, even if it's a puppy.
