The german shepherd rescues will provide health care and training for the dogs before they leave the rescues. The dog is used nowadays in many different ways. Though herding was the dog’s original purpose, von Stephanitz, the founder of the breed and the club named after him, recognized the importance of expanding the breed's usefulness in other directions. Thus, von Stephanitz persuaded the government to use the dog in police and military work. The dogs went on to become the first dogs used as Guide Dogs for the blind thanks to their stable and well-tempered characters. Nowadays the dogs are also used as rescue dogs. The german shepherd rescues will provide health care and training for the dogs before they leave the rescues.

  -

training, rescues

These dogs are very smart and quick to learn, if puppy training and socialization begins from the early age. Training a dog means keeping it physically and mentally fit. Interesting and challenging training sessions work better than drill. Boring, repetitive exercises will do nothing but harm with these intelligent dogs. Without regular exercises, these dogs tend to become bored and may even develop behavior problems. Vigorous activities and obedience training are essential for every dog of this strong and agile breed. Only active families make the right owners for this breed. The german shepherd rescues will provide health care and training for the dogs before they leave the rescues.
