Generally speaking, adopted adult and senior dogs are easier to deal with than puppies. Most dogs available for adoption are already trained. Activity level of senior dogs is much lower than of young dogs. Not all dogs surrendered by their owners can boast of stable temperament. They suffer from separation anxiety and are not recommended for families with small children. These large and powerful dogs are not for every family, as they require an experienced owner who can devote much time to the pet. The german shepherd maryland clubs will advertise any available puppy with a picture and info.
