Golden Retriever Grooming
Breed clubs can offer golden retriever grooming videos and photo, as well as picture galleries of the dogs.
The dogs of this breed shed a little all year round and lose most of their coats twice a year. To avoid excessive shedding, you have to brush the dog at least once a week. Without proper care the coat may become matted and dull. It is necessary to trim the hair on the paws, tail and around the ears. Owning such a dog is a great responsibility for the whole family and adults should not leave the feeding, exercising and caring for the dogs to children only.

Golden Retriever Grooming -
photo, picture
The Kennel Club of England accepted this breed for registration in 1903 as Flat Coats and registered it as a separate breed in 1911. By the middle of the 20th century, clubs of breed fanciers were formed in many countries. The breed owes its origin to the growing demand for perfect hunting dogs. Lord Tweedmouth can be called a founder of the breed. He crossbred several hunting breeds, such as the Tweed Water Spaniel, Irish Setter, Bloodhound, Newfoundland and others. There appeared many crosses of the hunting breeds in the late 19th century, but only these dogs were considered excellent for bringing the game both from the land and water. Breed clubs can offer golden retriever grooming videos and photo, as well as picture galleries of the dogs.
