The az golden rescue retriever is breeder supported and will provide training before adoption.
The adoption process is not easy for purebred dogs; every applicant has to fill out an adoption questionnaire and prove that he/she is able to provide the dog with all necessary treatment, care, training and attention. If you are a novice, you will be refused to adopt a dog. Every applicant has to pay a small donation fee, from $50 to $200 in different organizations, to cover the expenses on keeping and feeding the dog. All animals are spayed or neutered, vaccinated, wormed and examined for genetic diseases prior to adoption.

Although these dogs are very forgiving, always willing to please and allow the owner to make many mistakes, they require much attention and regular exercise. They are tolerant to children and make reliable playing companions for teenagers, but should not be trusted with babies. These dogs are very pack-oriented, as the breed has been bred to make an excellent companion for various people. These dogs need to interact with the family on a regular basis to feel secure. Being very versatile, these dogs are good at hunting, make excellent service dogs and are used for many other tasks.
