Golden Male Name Retriever
The golden male name retriever can be found either with a breeder or sometimes at rescues that will take a purebreed dog.
Adopting an adult or senior purebred dog is a good alternative for those who have no time and desire to care for a puppy. This breed adapts easily to the new family and forms close bonds with the new owner. Even a senior dog becomes a member of the family in a very short time. When purchasing a puppy, there is no guarantee that it will be of a highest quality, as many disorders develop later in life. With adult dogs, their potential is clear. The owner will have no surprises in terms of temperament and health.

Golden Male Name Retriever -
rescues, dog
These dogs were bred specially for hunting; their original function was retrieving the waterfowl both on land and water. Today the breed is very versatile and can be used as service and therapy dogs, assisting handicapped persons in leading normal lives. They make excellent family pets, but are rather difficult to keep, especially for the novice owners and families with small children. The main disadvantage of the breed is that it needs plenty of exercise and room and cannot be kept in an apartment only.
