The golden retriever texas dog will always be socialized with other dogs.
The overall appearance, gait and balance are given more emphasis in evaluating these dogs than their component parts. Males are 23-24 inches high at the withers, and females are 21.5-22.5 inches high; deviations of more than 1 inch are disqualified. The peculiar feature of this breed is its dense, water-repellent double coat, consisting of firm coarse guard hair and soft undercoat. The muzzle is straight, with no heaviness in flews. Eyes are intelligent and friendly in expression; ears are falling close to cheek.

Like other sporting breeds, these dogs need plenty of exercise. Fetching, romping with other dogs, running near a bike are favorite activities for this breed. Adult dogs benefit best from regular periods of high intensity activity; puppies under 18 months of age should be exercised with care, as they may damage their joints when jumping or running fast. Nowadays, these dogs are rarely used for their original purpose, but most of them enjoy swimming. Swimming is excellent exercise for a dog, but the master should not toss a dog into the water, if it doesn’t want to. The golden retriever texas dog will always be socialized with other dogs.
