Greater Swiss Mountain Dogs have a beautiful tri-color double coat that is black with rich rust and white markings. This breed is the oldest of the Swiss dog breeds and contributed to both the Rottweiler and the Saint Bernard. This working breed is well known for its labor as a draft dog, as well as its service to the tradesmen and farmers of the Swiss villages.
