Halden Hound
For a purebreed halden hound, buy from halden hound kennels or breeders, where as rescue dogs are often not purebreds.
The first standard for the breed was written in the 1950s. The breed is believed to be the result of crossing Swedish, German, and English scent dogs to produce a good hunting companion. They need regular brushing and a lot of exercise.
