The Havanese dog was generated by crossbreeding of the Blanquito de la Habana, an old Cuban native Bishon-type breed, with the Poodle. The genes of the Maltese and the Bishon Frise are also known to be present in the dog’s makeup. Puppies that live in a kennel can grow up into wonderful dogs if they're adopted.
