Italian Hound
An Italian hound is, as you can see in photos, much smaller than other hound breeds but still make great dogs for pets.
They should receive a lot of exercise and care. When buying puppies, ask for health certificates, as these dogs are prone to a few hereditary disorders such as eye problems, luxating patella, poor teeth, low thyroid, seizures, and Legg-Perthes disease.

These dogs resemble their counterpart, yet there are smaller in size. They are very elegant and slim and have very thin skin. The height for an adult dog is about 12 to 15 inches, whereas the weight is about 6 to 10 pounds.
