Kooikerhondje
For a purebred kooikerhondje puppy, contact a local kennel or breeder.
The breed is prone to some hereditary disorders such as Von Willebrandt disease, cataracts, patella luxation, and hereditary necrotizing myelopathy. To eliminate these conditions, the breeders test the parent dogs and do not normally breed the carriers of the defective genes or affected dogs.
