They need lots of exercise and activity in their life. Their curly coat requires regular grooming at least twice a week. This breed comes in three sizes, they are: Standard, Medium, and Miniature. Normally, there shouldn’t be great difference in the general appearance in any of the three size variations. Dogs of this breed have several other names, such as Doodle, Labrador-Poodle, Lab-Poodle Hybrid.

The breed originated in Australia in the 1970s. This is a new breed that has a long way to go to establish itself among other breeds. These are very energetic and intelligent dogs. This breed is a cross between the Standard Poodle and Labrador Retriever. This peculiar mixture of two breeds combines aloof nature, the delicate frame, and the low-allergy, and non-shedding traits of the Poodle with boisterous exuberance, lovability, and loyalty of the Labrador Retriever.
