A mixed breed dog is any dog that is not a purebred, often times a mixture of two different purebred dogs. Of course, there are advantages and drawbacks to owning mixed breed dogs. You do not have to have a purebred to get the wonderful unconditional love from your dog! Mixed breed dogs tend to be far less expensive than purebreds, but it is much harder to predict temperament, size and health issues.
