Norfolk terrier breeders are similar to other breeders except for one fact; they are a breeder of that particular type.
This breed differs from the Norwich breed. Thus there are the following differences: the ears of the breed are dropped; the dogs are angular whereas the Norwich are more round. This breed developed in England as a small ratting dog.

The type discussed is about 10 inches (25cm.) high and weighs 10-12 pounds (4.5-5.5kg.). As a matter of fact this is the smallest type of the terrier. The breed was separated form the Norwich in the year 1964 and was registered in 1979.
