Otterhound Rescue
An otterhound rescue is different from your average public kennels; a kennel is not specialized in one particular breed.
Purebred dogs should be bought from reputable sources, and not from brokers, pet shops, or backyard breeders. Reputable breeders never mate two dogs if they cannot take the responsibility for all the puppies in a litter. They breed for the betterment of the breed, and not make easy money.

Otterhound Rescue -
kennels, kennel
What distinguishes a responsible breeder during the first meeting is that he is willing to take the time to talk with the prospective buyer and share information on the breed. A responsible breeder is interested in educating a potential buyer, as it is his high quality puppies he will care for.
