German Spitzs are the oldest breed of dog in Central Europe. Like the other German Spitzs, the German Mittel Spitz has a unique appearance with their foxy head, small pointed and closely set ears, and alert eyes. They are also known for their beautiful and plentiful coat. This breed can make a perfect watch-dog with its distrust of strangers and lack of hunting instinct.
