The Giant German Spitz is the largest of the German Spitz varieties. These dogs originated in Germany and are some of the oldest known breeds. It is believed that Viking travelers brought dogs to Germany and Holland and these dogs led to the development of the German Spitzs. This breed tends to be gentle, is eager to please their master and loves the outdoors and exercise.
