This breed originated in the arctic of Scandinavia and is believed to have northern wolf blood. Eskimos have selectively bred the Greenland Dog for thousands of years for energy and power. Their success is evident because the Greenland Dog has exceptional endurance and can survive even the lowest of temperatures.
