The Tosa Inu is a Japanese breed that originated on the island of Shikoku in the Kochi Prefecture. This breed was developed using the Kochi dog from Japan with the Bulldog, Mastiff, Bull Terrier, German Pointer, and the Great Dane. This cross was developed explicitly for the purpose of arena fighting. This dog is aggressive with all other dogs, but is patient and loyal to their family.
