The Chinese Shar-Pei is a very brave, loyal and independent dog. They bond closely with their family and make good watchdogs. These dogs generally have an easy-going temperament, make great companions and wonderful family pets. The Toy Chinese Shar-Pei is a smaller version of the AKC recognized Chinese Shar-Pei. The toy version is not recognized, but it makes wonderful indoor companions.
