The Valley Bulldog comes from the Boxer and the English Bulldog. These dogs are thought to have originated in the Annapolis Valley, Nova Scotia, Canada, giving it its name "Valley Bulldog." This dog enjoys the company of its human companions and will have fun "clowning around" with them. They also make quality watch-dogs, as they will bark when something is out of the ordinary.
