Pomeranian Grooming

Pomeranian grooming requires more alloted time in kennel schedules and for workers in rescues. Puppy uglies should not worry pom owners as almost every Pom puppy goes through this stage of acquiring an adult coat. Starting from age 3 months and up to 9-10 months, the puppy will look ragged and untidy. However, by one year old, the dog is sure to become a beauty. Breed owners should be prepared to regularly care for the double coat of their pets if they want to have healthy and beautiful Poms. The Pom has a soft undercoat and a long outer coat. They do shed and mat and have to be brushed at least 2-3 times weekly. Pomeranian grooming requires more alloted time in kennel schedules and for workers in rescues.
