Blue pomeranian may appear gray with bluish cast in the photos while puppies may be lighter in color.
Poms need extensive coat care since the hairs are subject to highly matting. These dogs are usually referred to as fluffy balls and it may seem extremely difficult to care for the coat. However, regular brushing and occasional bathing is all the breed needs to look brilliant.

In reality, these dogs are usually gray and have a bluish cast. Sable dogs have black guard hairs and resemble orange sables except that they have light to dark gray as the background color.
