Pomeranian chihuahua like any other Pom mix is not usually promoted by a quality breeder or kennel although they may make a good pet.
They easily adjust to living in an apartment since they do not need a lot of room and have low exercise needs. They are happiest when walked a few times a day and supplies with toys. Like many small dogs, they may suffer from knee problems.

Like all small dogs, these crosses should be well socialized and trained. Small size should not confuse the owner, as all dogs need obedience training. As a rule, they are eager to please the owner and are not hard to train on the condition the owner uses positive reinforcement.
