A rhodesian ridgeback puppy is rarely ever found in any of the rescues. The breed is able to withstand the African bush and heat; it can be an excellent guard and watchdog. Today these dogs are more often found in the show rings or in the homes. The breed possesses many hound characteristics: quiet, gentle temperament, alert, and protective. A rhodesian ridgeback puppy is rarely ever found in any of the rescues.

puppy, rescues

This breed originated in South Africa in the 16th century when European settlers found domesticated dogs and crossbred them with the dogs from the European continent.
