Rottweiler Traits

Information on typical rottweiler traits can be obtained from any kennel along with dogs' photos. Though being rather hardy and healthy, this breed is prone to a number of serious disorders. Hip or elbow dysplasia is common in many large breeds. This disease is genetic and may also be influenced by environmental factors. It causes serious pain and debilitation. What makes the problem worse is difficulty in detecting the disorder at early stages. There is no effective treatment for this disorder, but it can be prevented by screening the breeding stock prior to mating. Only in reputable kennels, all dogs are screened for typical disorders.
