Rott
There are many rott dogs in any rescue.
The breed is an old one and it was used by the Romans for herding the cattle and guarding the camps across the Alps. The hounds were also called butcher dogs. The modern variety of the breed originated in town called Rottweil in the 19th century. These dogs used to drive the cattle to the market and to carry the purses with money around the neck. The breed is one of the most popular breeds in the world and belongs to the group of guard dogs.

It’s very important to obtain these dogs from reputable breeders that strive for perfection and breed only stable high quality sires and dams. Aggressive parents are likely to produce puppies with aggressive tendencies. Trustworthy breeders provide the puppies with all they need: enough activity and human attention, socialization, proper diet and vet care. Level of aggression of these dogs depends on many factors, such as living conditions in the early age, socialization with various people and situations, attitude of the owner and others.
