The average height of this breed is 24-17 inches (61-70 cm) at the shoulders; bitches are 22-25 inches (56-63 cm.) The weight of dogs varies from 95 to 130 pounds; bitches are from 85 to 115 pounds. When these dogs are consistently brought up and trained, they make good playmates for children, but in the wrong hands they may become difficult to control.
