Rottweiler National

In the rottweiler national club, you can view photo or picture galleries of the breed. Dogs of this breed possess many talents that make them popular all over the world. The ancestors of the modern breed were used to fight lions in Roman amphitheaters, drive and herd the cattle and serve the army in its campaigns. Modern dogs of this breed lack aggression, but retain most working abilities of their ancestors. First and foremost, these dogs are ready to please the owner, if they are taught to respect and obey. Well-bred and properly trained dogs are loyal and protective; strong, yet gentle; playful and loving to the family and aloof and dignified with strangers. These hounds are people-oriented and need a lot of companionship and socialization to be truly happy. Because of their size, trained and socialization of these hounds should begin fairly early - while the dog is still small, and great care should be taken to ensure that the dog is not made vicious. These dogs can be aggressive with other dogs, this is quite natural and therefore should be kept on a leash in public places. These dogs will actually accept cats and other household pets as long as they have had a positive experience with them while they were young. In the rottweiler national club, you can view photo or picture galleries of the breed.
