Adult hounds of this breed reach about 55-58 cm at the shoulders and weigh up to 55 pounds; males are generally larger than females. The lifespan of the breed is about 14-15 years; these hounds remain very active and curious for most of their lives. A small munsterlander dog can be adopted from any dog breed rescue.
