Puppy -
kennels, rescues
The history of the Swedish Vallhund dates back to eighth century Sweden where the breed worked as farm dogs, primarily herding cattle. The breed has survived thanks to Count Bjorn Von Rosen and K.G. Zettersten who made a concerted effort to revive the breed in 1942. A puppy of this breed can be obtained from many kennels or rescues.
